Welcome to Link Logic — a multiplayer word game built for families and friends to enjoy together. We believe every player deserves a place to play that's safe, fair, and fun. That's why we've put real legal protections in place: they protect you as a player, and they help us maintain the integrity of Link Logic for everyone. Welcome to Link Logic. We are committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, family-friendly environment where players can challenge one another through friendly competition. These Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines together form your agreement with us.

Link Logic is designed for players of all ages. Players under thirteen (13) may use the Service with the limitations described below — most importantly, chat and voice chat are not available to players under 13. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for the security of your account and all activity under it. Provide accurate registration information, keep your password confidential, notify us if you believe your account has been compromised, and use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not sell, transfer, share, or allow another person to use your account.

Notifications are on by default so you don't miss an open game or an invitation. You may turn them off any time — temporarily or permanently — from My Account.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Unless required by law, subscription fees and partial periods are non-refundable, and accounts terminated for violating these Terms are not entitled to refunds. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund amounts already paid.

Play fairly. Don't cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, interfere with another player's game or account, or attempt unauthorized access to any account, server, or system.

While using the Service — specifically the chat and voice features — you agree not to:
1. Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten another player.
2. Use obscene, vulgar, abusive, or sexually explicit language.
3. Promote hatred, discrimination, or violence.
4. Share or request another player's personal contact information.
5. Advertise products or services, or send spam.
6. Organize gambling or wagering.
7. Upload malicious software.
8. Violate another person's rights or any applicable law.
9. Post or engage in any other content or conduct that is illegal, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate for a family audience, whether or not specifically listed above.

Usernames may not include profanity, sexual references, hate speech, personal information, or impersonate another person or Link Logic.

Chat is for friendly interaction. Don't use it to harass, exchange contact information, solicit money, or promote illegal activity. Chat messages may be reviewed and retained as described in the Privacy Policy — never assume chat is private.

Players in the same room may be automatically connected to a live voice conversation. The same standards in Section 6 apply fully to voice. Unlike text chat, voice is never recorded or stored — it exists only live, in the moment. Players who indicate they are under 13 are not connected to voice chat at all, in either direction; this does not affect voice chat for other players 13+ in that room.

Report behavior that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, honestly and in good faith.

The Feedback button may be used for general feedback, bug reports, complaints, or reporting a player. It is not the channel for a formal request to access, correct, or delete account information — including a parent's request about a child's account — see Section 22 for that.

1st violation: removal from the current game, sign-out, and notice. 2nd violation: the same, plus a formal warning. 3rd violation: permanent account termination without refund. Link Logic may also immediately terminate access, regardless of strike count, for severe violations (threats of violence, child exploitation, fraud, hacking, malicious software, and similar).

We may suspend or terminate accounts as reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect players, investigate misconduct, or comply with legal obligations. Termination may result in permanent loss of game history, rankings, and account data.

The Service and all related intellectual property is owned by Link Logic or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of it without permission.

We strive for reliable service but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Link Logic is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, included in full below.

Accounts belonging to players under 13 cannot participate in text chat and are never connected to voice chat, in any room, in either direction. This applies only to that player — other players 13+ in the same room keep full chat and voice access. Parents or legal guardians may contact us regarding a child's account or personal information.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be presented for re-acceptance before you can continue playing.

This section affects your legal rights. Except for small claims, injunctive relief to protect IP or account security, or matters that can't legally be arbitrated, disputes between you and Link Logic are resolved through individual, binding arbitration rather than in court — not as a class action, and not before a jury. Before filing, either side must first send a written Notice of Dispute and allow 30 days to try to resolve things informally. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement, with no effect on your ability to use the Service, by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms — include your name, username, account email, the date you accepted, and a clear statement that you're opting out. See Section 23 for where to send it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules, since Link Logic Game LLC is organized under Wyoming law.

Applies to all Link Logic services, including our website, customer support, subscriptions, and related online services.

Account: username, email or Google account info, encrypted password, age category (Under 13 / 13 and Older), account creation date. This currently applies the same way regardless of age category.

Subscription: handled through Stripe — we never receive your full card or banking information, only subscription status, confirmations, renewal dates, and transaction IDs.

Game: games played, wins/losses, rankings, achievements, invitations, notification preferences and push tokens, gameplay stats, feature usage.

Technical: device type, OS, app version, IP address, device identifiers, crash reports, performance diagnostics, connection info.

Chat: stored and may be reviewed for moderation, abuse investigation, safety, enforcement, fraud detection, or legal compliance. Never assume chat is private.

Voice: live only, via Daily.co — never recorded, transcribed, or stored. Players under 13 are never connected to voice at all.

Phone numbers, home addresses, personal emails, social accounts, government IDs, financial info, or passwords shared through chat — never share these with other players.

Used only to operate the Service, maintain accounts and rankings, process subscriptions, moderate conduct, and meet legal obligations. Never sold. We don't currently use analytics, ad tracking, or Crashlytics. Data is shared only with providers who help run the Service (Stripe, Firebase/Google Cloud, Daily.co for voice, push notifications, customer support) and legal authorities when required. Protected with commercially reasonable safeguards, though no system is guaranteed 100% secure. Retained only as long as reasonably necessary.

Text and voice chat are both disabled, in either direction, for that player only — other players 13+ in the room are unaffected. The account is otherwise created using the same fields as any account. Parents or guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of a child's account information.

You may update your info, change notification preferences, cancel your subscription, or request account deletion at any time. Deleting your account may permanently remove your rankings, stats, and history. Some records may be retained where legally necessary.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

These Community Guidelines are not a separate legal contract — the Terms of Service above is the legal agreement. This explains how we work together as a community. Our philosophy: Play Fair. Be Respectful. Have Fun.

Be courteous, honest, and a good sport. Use chat and voice to encourage other players, not to harass, use profanity, make sexual comments, threaten, spam, or advertise. If you wouldn't say it around children or grandparents, it doesn't belong here — typed or spoken.

Never share or ask for phone numbers, addresses, emails, social accounts, school or employer info, passwords, or financial info. Your safety matters more than winning.

Both text and voice chat are automatically disabled for under-13 accounts, in either direction. This can't be changed by the player, and only affects that player — friends 13+ in the same room keep normal chat and voice.

No profanity, sexual language, hate speech, threats, personal info, or impersonation in usernames. No cheating, bots, exploiting bugs, or manipulating scores — winning should come from skill.

Don't organize betting, gambling, or prize pools based on game results.

Report violations honestly — knowingly false reports may themselves be a violation. We prefer to educate before we discipline, but repeated or serious violations lead to our Three-Strike Policy (detailed in full in the Terms of Service above).

Find creative connections between random words using a "link" word. The player with the most points after all rounds wins.

1. Enter your player name and tap Host to set up a game.
2. Generate a room number and send text invitations to players.
3. Choose a Preset to set game parameters (rounds, number of words, bonus words, and time limit).
4. You can edit a Preset and save your adjustments, or tap Reset to restore the original settings.
5. Edits must be saved before moving on.
6. Tap Go to Waiting Room when ready.

The host picks how challenges get defended during gameplay.

⏱️ Timer Challenge: The challenged player types their defense against a countdown clock. Player votes must be in before the timer runs out.

🎙️ Verbal Challenge: There is no countdown clock during the defense portion of the game. The challenged player explains their defense verbally to the room or over voice chat. The host then taps Time to Vote once a decision has been made to accept or reject the challenged link. The button starts a 5-second countdown for players to select or reject the link on the screen.

Exception: If an under 13 player is in the game, the challenged player must type in their defense to allow the under 13 player to vote, as they are legally not allowed to join the voice chat.

There are three ways to join:
• Text invitation — tap the link sent by the host.
• Room number — enter the room number on the Welcome screen and tap Play.
• Find a Game — browse open rooms in the Lobby, organized by skill bracket.

All players must tap I'm Ready before the game can begin. Chat with other players while you wait. The host starts the game with Tap to Play, which triggers the Ready → Set → Go countdown.

Removing a player: as host, you can remove anyone from the Waiting Room by using the Kick button that appears on every other player's name cell. Once tapped, it asks you to confirm before that player is actually removed.

All players in the waiting room are automatically connected via voice chat. Use the Mute button to toggle your microphone. Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time.

Tip: Playing in the same room as another player? Mute all but one device to avoid echo.

Players who indicate they're under 13 are never connected to voice chat, in either direction — this doesn't affect voice for anyone else in the room.

1. Each round displays random words in a grid, with bonus words highlighted in purple.
2. Select 2 or more words that share a connection.
3. Type a link word that connects your selected words.
4. Tap Submit to save your link.
5. Keep linking words until the timer runs out — submit as many links as you can find.

Selected Words: Snow, Fire
Link Word: White

Defense: Snow is white, and fire can burn white-hot.
Because Fire is also a bonus word (shown in purple), this link would score double.

Purple-highlighted words are bonus words. Include one in your link to double your points for that submission.

1. After each round, review all players' links on the Scoring screen. Tap the ? icon to challenge any link you think does not make sense.
2. All players must tap the Challenge button on the bottom of the screen to advance.
3. Challenged players type a defense explaining their connection.
4. Other players vote Accept or Reject. The defender automatically gets one Accept vote.
5. Ties always go to an Accept verdict. A link is only rejected if Reject votes outnumber Accepts.
6. Rejected links lose their points.

1. During a challenge, any player can tap AI Ruling for an instant AI opinion on the disputed link.
2. The AI casts one vote — Accept or Reject — with its reasoning shown. It's counted alongside the human votes and never overrides the group.
3. If the challenged player submits a defense afterward, the AI reviews it and gets one chance to revise its vote.

You can play single player games by tapping Play AI on the Let's Play screen. You have the option to pick your opponent: Simple Sally (Preset 3 game options), Lug Nut (Preset 6 game options), or The Dominator (Preset 9 game options), each with their own personality and difficulty. It's a single round, played on the same screens as a real game, and doesn't affect your ranking or games-played count.

Compound Link Words: Creating a link word by combining grid words is acceptable.

Double Meaning Link Words: Creating a link using different meanings of your link word.

Selected Words: "Ships" · "Fugitive"

Link Word: "Harbor"

Defense: Ships dock in a harbor, and to harbor a fugitive means to shelter them.


Conceptual Link Words: You can select a link word that connects multiple grid words to a unified concept (scenes, activities, events, etc.).

Selected Words: "Fire" · "Tent" · "Forest" · "Stories" · "Marshmallows"

Link Word: "Camping"

Defense: Each word plays a distinct role in the concept of a camping scene.

Vocabulary Link Words: Creating a link using a vocabulary word that describes a category.

Selected Words: "Horse" · "Dog" · "Eagle"

Link Word: "Animals"

Also invalid: "Verbs," "Nouns," "Words," "Objects," or "Things" used as a link word.


Subset Link Words: Your link word cannot be a subset of your selected words.

Selected Words: "Power" · "Grid"

Link Word: "Grid"


Personal Knowledge: Your link word can't rely on a private fact only you would know — the connection has to be something any player could recognize and verify.

All screen transitions require every player to tap before the group advances — no one gets skipped ahead, and no one is left behind without realizing why the screen hasn't moved.

All players start at 600 ranking. After each game, your rank changes based on where you placed relative to everyone else in that specific game — from +20 for 1st place down to -15 for last place, spread evenly across the field.

This means the same placement can score very differently depending on how many people played. Coming in 2nd out of 2 players is a loss, and scores near the bottom of the range. Coming in 2nd out of 6 players is a strong result, and scores near the top. It's always about how you did against the players who were actually in your game, not a fixed number tied to the placement itself.

Opponent Bonus: Beating higher-ranked players earns extra points. Conversely, losing to lower-ranked players costs extra. Ranking cannot drop below 400.

Preset Bonus: Your preset also affects how much a game's outcome moves your ranking. Choosing a harder preset raises both what you stand to gain and what you risk.

Beginner: Under 500
Bronze: 500 – 800
Silver: 801 – 1,100
Gold: 1,101 – 1,400
Platinum: 1,401 – 1,600
Titanium: 1,600+

After a game, three buttons on the Winner screen make it easy to reach us: Report a Player for anything against the rules, Bugs or Issues for something that is broken, or Feedback to share a thought. The Feedback button in My Account works the same way anytime, not just after a game.
